How often do you step on the scale and realize that you’re actually gaining more weight then you are losing? Just like celebrities for most us, this is one of the biggest problems that we are facing. And there are hundreds of diets from fast food diets to Atkins diets. And for many, these diets fail, or not motivating enough to keep up with. But with all these diets that promises results, the question is, which celebrity weight loss diet or any diet really works?
When going on a diet, people have to realize that each diet is made for different people. Everyone has different types of body functions and metabolism. So in order to match with one should depend on your goals.
As mentioned before, there are unique diets, such as the junk food diet. This diet allows you to eat all the McRib’s and French fries you want, As long as you count your calorie intake. This may work for those who have will power, because over indulging is the one weakness that may break this diet.
Other diets going strong are the slim fast diet. This is where you replace one or two meals out of your day with either a shake, or a whole grain bar with a bottle of water. The plus to this diet, is if you’re an active person, replacing those two meals will be fulfilling, but allow the body to burn fat (for body fat is just stored energy). And the whole grain bars provides the fiber your body needs to help your digestive system, to avoid the body storing away fat.
The subway diet was the biggest thing to hit America. Where you can eat any subway sandwich because no matter what you put on it, it is only 6 grams of fat. Some still stick to the diet to avoid big meals, and a foot long is to last for lunch and dinner. Some may not consider this a real diet, but when you break down everything subway has to offer, it’s like a salad (hints why they give you light meat and heavy vegetables).
Each diet that comes out is meant to serve a purpose depending on the person’s body and eating habits. But whether you pick one of the mentioned diets, or one from a magazine, the diet will not be affective without the exercise.
The real reason people get on a diets is because they are seen as shortcuts to avoid exercising. Keeping active is what makes everything work hand in hand. Don’t feel like going to the gym? No worries. Thanks to Wii, Xbox, and PlayStation, there are notion games that will get you off your couch and work those pounds off to your favorite games.
To summarize, motivation and self-control is the best diet to have. Knowing the right choices to make when you’re shopping (fruit over sweets, juice over soda) can make all the difference as well. And now that it is getting cold, doesn’t mean that it’s a good excuse. Get healthy, get active, and get fit.
