Are you looking for a gluten-free weight loss program? If so, I am pretty sure you are struggling to find one that’s right for you. My father in law is Gluten Intolerant, and was also a little on the heavy side. After struggling to find the right diet plan to help him shift those extra pounds, I came to the rescue.
Being gluten intolerant for some people means the end. My father in law really struggled at first, especially with bread products, and he really did think his world had ended. To make things worse, he became slightly depressed and piled on a few pounds. After around 6 months of piling on the pounds something needed to be done.
He was convinced that his diet was to blame, and it was the obvious answer. The next problem came with trying to find a weight loss program that was free of gluten, and it was a little difficult. At first he tried cutting out the bad foods that he thought were making him overweight, but that didn’t work. This is a common mistake, many people believing bad foods are making them pile on the pounds, when it may not be the cause of the problem.
The main problem with his extra weight was it was just in his stomach area. After some gentle persuasion, I got him to try some well-known ab diets, and we just cut out the gluten products, but this didn’t work either. What we needed was a gluten-free weight loss program that worked on the areas we needed, and also showed you how to eat gluten-free and lose weight.
This was nothing new I found. Gluten free weight loss programs are nothing new, and many people who are not gluten intolerant try these types of diets to lose weight. It took around a week or so, but this type of diet was actually starting to show some positive results, and in his first week my father in law lost 4 pounds.
I know what you are thinking, 4 pounds may not sound like a massive amount of weight, but after 6 months of piling on the pounds, he was now finally starting to lose them, and all down to a simple gluten-free weight loss program. I also have a daughter that is also gluten intolerant, and hopefully one day if she needs it, this simple but effective diet change, may come in handy for her too.
