gluten intolerance symptoms

Gluten symptoms and wheat symptoms as the name implies are triggered from eating foods containing wheat, it is basically an intolerance to a protein or proteins found in wheat, barley, rye and oats. By removing all these grains from your diet, you will be well on the way to controlling your condition.

Arm yourself with good information and be alert to the foods that trigger your problems and you will live well without foods containing wheat and or gluten. The human body was not created to digest these proteins and this is where some people, as many as 1 in 15 are having difficulties with these grains.

Many people will only experience slight symptoms that they shrug off as just one of those things, things like mild stomach ache or increased flatulence or even feeling unwell just after eating. But because this feeling only lasts a short time they quickly forget about it and go on with their day.

Because of the mild symptoms these people don’t realise that they actually have an intolerance and are living totally undiagnosed. These people would benefit greatly by reducing wheat products from their diet but unfortunately they don’t actually know they have a problem.

If after reading this article you feel you may have these symptoms, be vigilant and read all food labels to try to eliminate or at least cut down substantially the ingredients that contain wheat or gluten. Do this for a couple of weeks and monitor how you feel after eating, if you have a positive response and are feeling better, chances are you may suffer from this condition.

For a more complete diagnosis see you doctor and have tests done to find out what’s causing these symptoms, but cutting wheat from your diet will benefit you in many other ways as well, including weight loss and skin rejuvenation.
